The weekend was a full one. Friday, I had a MOMS Club® meeting in the afternoon. So the night before I had to get all the sign-up sheets printed and ready. It went pretty well all in all I think. Just glad I was able to get the newsletter to print. So I should be stress free till next months meeting ugh! Makes me wonder sometimes if I should have not taken the position.

Anyway after the meeting Friday we went to hub's brother's house. The boys always have fun playing with their cousins. It was an enjoyable time. Then we came home and our neighbor (not the new one but the one we've always gotten along with) was burning some sticks and the boys and I helped her find sticks. The boys had so much fun staying out after dark LOL. They don't get to often so it was really fun for them. They even brought out a flashlight to help look for sticks LOL. Chord kept saying this is the best night ever LOL. Too bad he doesn't get excited like that for chores LOL!!

Saturday the boys and I ended up at the neighbors again (better than cleaning house right? LOL) helping her sort through some of her Lego's from when her kids were little. I think the boys more played with them then sorted them though LOL. It's ok though because she just loves the boys and we all had fun playing with them a bit too LOL. Even Harlow joined in for a few minutes here and there LOL. After we helped her the boys and our landlords daughter (she's 12) all played some softball. Some how they talked me into it LOL. It was a good day though. The rest of the day was spent relaxing.

Sunday, was church of course. Afterwards we came home ate lunch and then went to my mom's her fiance' house to hang out. The boys some how coned my mom and I to play softball (yeah my boys love playing softball LOL) so we did that for a bit (was a beautiful day) then came in and had some pizza.

My mom ended up giving the boys five dollars each so when we were leaving they had holes in their pockets and wanted to go spend it. So we went and searched for some Lego Batman that they wanted. It took us four stores to find what they were looking for (they already knew what they wanted). So they put their money together and got what they wanted. Hubby with some E-bay money he has is getting them some other Lego Batman thing so the boys are splitting the figures evenly to each other. ... That is one thing I have never really had to worry about with the boys. They share things all the time without being told they have to. It's just something they have always done. Which is cool since I remember my younger brother and I used to fight all the time about anything we had to share LOL.

So that was our weekend. It was busy but it was a good time. So how was your weekend?

Had a good weekend. Friday we went to the Zoo with friends of ours. The boys and their friend had a great time. I think they enjoyed each other's company more so then being at the Zoo itself. I have to go through the pics and alter the ones with our friends on it since I am sure she doesn't want her children on the Internet LOL. When I do that I will try and get them up. I know, I know I said I wasn't going to take any more pics of the Zoo but hubby offered to buy more batteries for me so I really couldn't refuse could I? LOL. I just can't help myself :P.

Saturday, was pretty much a lazy day. We spent the time at home not doing a whole lot. Which was ok because after the Zoo I was pretty tired LOL. So were the boys too I think. It was a good day though :).

Sunday was Church of course. Not much after that either. So another lazy day. I did straighten up the house a bit though LOL. Yep, I have a boring life but that's so much better than having a lot of drama in my life LOL.

Today boys did their school work and then we all (even hubby) went to the Library to return a few books and to get a few more. After that we went to the park right next to the Library and let the boys play for a bit. Then we went for a short walk to the local store to get a us something to drink and took a longer walk back to the park so the boys could play a little longer. It was a nice day for a walk and it was a nice time together as a family. It's hard to just walk down our street since it's a busy road and the speed limit is 50 miles and hour with no sidewalk. So I am leery about just me walking down the road let alone with the kids. So when we can get walks in it's nice :). So what was your weekend?

Don't have anything much to blog about. Had a pretty laid back weekend. Still trying not to use too much gas. The place we went to this weekend was Church. Oh and hubby went with his friend to Musicians Friend so he (his friend) could pick something up. That was about it for us. Today was much the same. Only difference is we did schooling LOL.

Tomorrow I am going to a Pot Luck within the MOMS Club®. It's a Mexican themed and we all get to bring one ingredient to it. Which is good for me because I am really awful on knowing what to bring or make for a pot luck LOL. This time I am bringing the shredded cheese LOL. So it should be a good time.

The rest of the week we aren't doing anything till Friday. That's when (if weather permits) hubby drops us off at my friends house (she homeschool's too) and then we head for the Zoo. We got a membership before hubby was laid off so as long as we pack our lunches we won't have to pay for anything :).

Tomorrow is also laundry day so I am going to go to the Laundromat (with boys and their school work) head to the store for a couple things and then to the Pot Luck. Then on Thursday we will probably do a bit of grocery shopping. So that is our week planned out. Pretty boring huh? LOL. How was your weekend?

The weekend was good. Saturday we ended up going to a Trading Center about a 40 min. drive from here. The boy's got some die cast cars and hubby got a couple of things. I didn't get anything but then again I just don't enjoy spending money LOL. I don't know why but I have always been like that. Even when I was younger I never begged my parents for the "cool" clothes or the "in thing". Nope I liked the cheaper stuff better. My mom used to even try to get me to want the more expensive things but I just didn't care for them. My dad and also my dad's mom was like that too so I must take after them. I just don't know why I am like that. I don't think it's necessarily because I am cheap LOL. I just really don't like spending money on me. I love getting other people things. Especially if it's something I know they will like. I guess I am just odd LOL.

Anyway Sunday we went to church and then the rest of the day was spend at home. That was a nice break after all the running we did during the week. It was nice just to be lazy LOL.

Today was the monthly MOMS Club meeting. No one else is running for Secretary except me so I will be having that position once the elections are over LOL. This will mean I will have to get rid of some of the other things I do like Create and Play maybe the Science Club, Nursery coordinator and making the name tags LOL. Wow I don't think I realized how much I do till I typed it all out LOL. I love being a part of the club though. I have made a lot of good friends through it and I know the boy's love doing the things they have going and also have made a lot of good friends.

Tomorrow is laundry day. But other than that no plans. I am hoping for another do nothing much day LOL. I don't feel like I recuperated from last week LOL. But who knows what tomorrow will bring. How was every one's weekend?

I know, I know I have been MIA again LOL. It's been a busy four day's or so. Thursday we did Create and Play and it was a lot of fun! Kids even got to play in shaving cream LOL.

By the time all was said and done they were both covered in shaving cream LOL. I should have gotten a good picture of that LOL. Oh well I am sure we will have more fun with that another time LOL. The rest of the day just seemed to fly by and I didn't get a chance to blog.

Friday, We got our taxes back so we got a new Jeep! Ok well it's not new but new to us LOL. It's a 1998 not a 97' that I thought it was before LOL. It's really nice. I haven't had a chance to take a pic of it. Hopefully I can soon and show you all LOL. It had a crack in the windshield but that's about all that is wrong with it and we got the replaced today (Monday) So Friday was really busy with running around and getting the Jeep all legal. So again I didn't get a chance to blog.

Saturday, I went grocery shopping and then we went shopping. We got the boy's each a pair of new pants since they some how manage to get holes in their knees in a least two other pairs of pants LOL. Boy's I tell you (at least mine) are rough on pants and socks ugh! I also got some ink for my printer and some Valentines Day cards for the boy's for their Valentines Day party on Wednesday at a homeschool group. Later that night I also went through and ordered the boy's (well mostly Chord since Jarod will just use Chord's stuff from previous years) curriculum for next year. I forgot to get a couple of other things though so I will order the rest after we get what's coming.

Sunday, we went to Church of course and enjoyed the service. Not a lot of people were there though because of the really icy cold weather! Boy was it freezing out! After Church we went to lunch with one of our Pastor's and his family. We went to Tiffany's Pizza. We spent a couple hours just chatting with them. It was a good time. They had a couple of their teenage kids with them. They were really great kids too. The older teenage boy even included the boy's in the conversations and of course they talked about Lego's LOL. After that we came home and stayed in doors because of the cold weather LOL. Day's like that I wish we could just hibernate but then I have said that before LOL.

Today, we didn't do much either even though it wasn't as cold as it was yesterday it was still pretty cold. Harlow woke-up early to get the windshield replaced and then head to work. We did get schooling done though and I got stuff around for tomorrow since it is laundry day! Hubby is going to take us tomorrow though because it's supposed to be really icy tomorrow and he would rather drive us and I would feel better about it too I think. I have to meet a friend of mine there too because I have to return a Science experiment book to her. She has to use it for something she is doing with her daughters preschool or something.

It was cold again today but thankfully I was able to go to the Laundromat to do laundry. No frozen water LOL. But when Hubby took the clothes out to the car last night he forgot to pack the backpack with the boy's school work in it and I didn't see it before we left. So we had to do school when we got back. So again we were a little off schedule. It wasn't bad but I really hate getting off our routine. I don't really have a strict routine and it's not like we have a routine for everything but with the routine we do have I don't like being off track. I do have to say though things went well for being off routine for the last two days.

Tomorrow is the rescheduled Create and Play with the MOMS Club that I and another mom is in charge of. It should be fun. I know the boy's will have fun. Hubby has been working overtime this week so seeing as we only have one vehicle the other mom that is also in charge of Create and Play is going to pick us up at 9:30 am. So I hope to get a little bit of school work done before going and finishing up when we get home. So once again our schedule will be off. I am just glad things are still running pretty smoothly even being off schedule.

Friday I don't have any plans so it will be a relaxing day. Hubby was thinking of going in pretty early on Friday at work so he can leave early. We shall see how that goes. Poor guy has been working a lot of overtime this week because his brother that works with him has had off for medical reasons. So he is pretty tired this week. I hope he gets some rest and sleep this weekend. What are your plans for the weekend?

My Babblings

This weekend I didn't feel all that well. I didn't get the bug the boy's had but I just didn't feel well. I haven't felt well actually in a week but thankfully today I feel much better. Better than I have for a week anyway.

Today was a good day. It was busy too. Woke-up and got the boy's around and we had breakfast and got them around and we did some schooling and then it was off to the monthly Bible Study group we have that is one part of the MOMS Club that I am in. I so look forward to this each month because not only is it a great time to get together with my friends but I love sharing the Word with other women as well. I always feel at peace afterwards and refreshed.

After Bible study I came home and did the rest of schooling with the boy's and then spent some time with them. So I guess today wasn't too terribly busy but a little more so then usual. My friend was supposed to come by today too but she isn't feeling well either so she couldn't make it. That's ok though because it made me a little less busy than I would have.

Tomorrow is good old laundry day so it's off to the Laundromat. I got some of the boy's work packed in a backpack so they can do stuff there. This way we are not having to wait till we are done with laundry to do school work. They also keep busy doing it like this. My boy's seem to do better in the morning hours to do school rather than later in the day or night. I am the same way too though. That's one think I really do love about homeschooling because I can choose when to do it with the boy's. When I know they are at their optimum and that could be at any time during the day. My boy's tend to learn better in the morning hours. Who knows that might change as they get older. Ok I know this post was a lot of babble so please forgive me LOL.
