More of my Ramblings :).

Not too much going on today.  After how busy we have been I am ok with that LOL.  We just had Science Club with the MOMS Club® but that was in the afternoon so nothing too much.

Friday is the Monthly meeting for MOMS Club® and our President is stepping down.  Funny thing is she would only have three more months with elections coming up but I guess she is done.  She is also going to drop out of the club.  There have been some issues with her so maybe it’s the best thing right now.  So the AVP is going to take the President’s position and we will have to get a new AVP.

I am still deciding if I want to run again for this coming election.  Maybe I will wait and see if anyone nominates me LOL.  The job itself isn’t really all that hard for me and I like doing that part of it but there are other issues I am not sure if I want to keep dealing with or not. Maybe since I have been through it all already I will be more prepared for it.  The question is do I really want to or not?  It hasn’t been a total disaster or anything just certain things that have got me thinking.  Lets just put it this way.  Sometimes if feels like I am back in high school.  Make sense?  It’s not everyone just certain people.  What’s really weird is it’s people I have liked.  So I don’t know what to do right now.

Anyway on a different note.  Hubby has a job interview on Tuesday!!!  It’s for the rest stop (a state job).  He would just do like groundskeeper things which he is ok with and hey eventually he would get decent pay we would have good benefits.  It might start off as part-time or seasonal but we can make it through that.  From what he said if it’s like that he could still collect some of his unemployment.  Of course it would be less with what he would be making but it’s something right?!  He really hated the school thing and there was no guarantee he would be able to get a job afterwards so this is probably a good thing he is doing.  Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers about getting this job!

Hello Everyone,  I know I have been gone a LONG, LONG time and I am sorry.  We have just had a lot going on.  We have had our fair share of illnesses and been busy with school. Seems we get really busy this same time of year every year with doing things. 

I have been spending a lot of time with my camera :).  A friend of mine in Feb. took me and the boys to take pictures of this one park that had flooded and then iced over.  I got some really great pics :).

Then of course we have been doing school work as you can see it’s not the most fun thing for the boys LOL.

Then this past weekend (March 21) we had a birthday party for both boys.  Since Jarod’s birthday falls so close after Christmas (Jan. 3) we decided to have a combined party for both boys.  Poor Jarod has never had a birthday party because where his birthday falls and we just don’t have the money at that time.  But he and Chord had a lot of fun this year with it!  They had it at our local bowling alley! My Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law bought the cake but decorated it themselves (aren’t they awesome?!)

Then today was Chord’s official birthday!  Can you believe he is nine years old now?!  I still can’t figure out where the time went.  Anyway we took the boys to the Zoo today.  It was a bit chilly but so worth it because there was hardly anyone there :).  So we didn’t have to rush through it like in the summer months.  We also got to hear an elephant trumpet a little and one of the Lions roared at us LOL.  Well I wouldn’t say roar exactly it was more like it was calling or something.  It scared Jarod though LOL.  But it was the coolest thing to hear.  Usually they are sleeping on the other side of the Rock so we can’t see them but this time one of them made an appearance.  I only wish I took a video of it instead of just pictures.  Anyway here are some zoo pictures!

In other news, Harlow has decided to not continue with the schooling.  He was having a rough time with it and it wasn’t making him happy and his negative attitude about it was rubbing off our family as well.  So he is now not going to school but still getting unemployment and actively looking for a job.  Even if he has to start from the bottom he is willing to do it.

Please pray that he can get into a Rest Area which would be a State Job.  His friends brother works there and he told Harlow there will be an opening there soon.  So pray that there is an opening and that he does get the job. Even if he starts off at a low wage it’s a state job so it will have good benefits and in the long run he will make better money down the road.  So please keep thinking of us :). 

I am sorry I have been gone so long.  I also wanted to thank all of you who have commented or emailed me wondering how I have been.  I really appreciate it :).  At least I know I was missed a little LOL.  I hope everyone is doing well!!!

Just wanted to blog before we had to go to church later. I know by the time I get home I will be too tired to post LOL.

Not much going on today. I feel really tired for some reason. I did go to bed a little later than usual last night but man I feel dead tired. Hopefully I will be a little more awake when we leave for church. You will be proud of me I haven't been out and about today LOL. Granted we will be going to church but that is what we do on Wednesday's anyway LOL. But other than that we stayed at home and just spent time as family.

Tomorrow I also have nothing planned so I will relax again LOL. Probably get the house around a little more too. It's a mess :P. I just felt too tired today to do much more than dishes and basic pick-up LOL.

Friday I do have a Bible Study with the MOMS Club but I always enjoy that and it's a relaxing atmosphere. I so enjoy doing our studies with the other women of faith. Some are Baptise, some are Lutheran and some are even Catholic (and me I come from a non-denomination church). Yet we are all friends and come together under Christ. It's a wonderful thing. I have known these women from the MOMS Club now for almost four years and they have all become good friends. I am grateful that someone pointed me to this Club and I am glad I am a part of it.

The weekend nothing planned just yet but that's how most of our weekends start out LOL. We shall see what goes on and how hubby and I feel.

Monday I have the Monthly Membership Meeting with the MOMS Club where we will do our elections for the new board. I know I will be Secretary though because no one is running against me LOL. So I will be shadowing the current Secretary for the next few meetings or so. I am both excited and nervous about doing this.

After Monday I don't have anything going on till Thursday which is also with the MOMS Club and that is we have Science Club which another mom and I are in charge of. This might be the last one we do though because we both will be on the board so hopefully someone will take our positions on both Science Club and Create and Play. I will be kind of sad to let these things go but then again we have gotten a lot of new members and I would love to see them take a part in doing some of these things.

Well I think I am going to go see what's going on in other's peoples world's (blogs) and then get ready for church or at least get prepared for church LOL. I hope everyone has a great day!!!

The weekend was good. Saturday we ended up going to a Trading Center about a 40 min. drive from here. The boy's got some die cast cars and hubby got a couple of things. I didn't get anything but then again I just don't enjoy spending money LOL. I don't know why but I have always been like that. Even when I was younger I never begged my parents for the "cool" clothes or the "in thing". Nope I liked the cheaper stuff better. My mom used to even try to get me to want the more expensive things but I just didn't care for them. My dad and also my dad's mom was like that too so I must take after them. I just don't know why I am like that. I don't think it's necessarily because I am cheap LOL. I just really don't like spending money on me. I love getting other people things. Especially if it's something I know they will like. I guess I am just odd LOL.

Anyway Sunday we went to church and then the rest of the day was spend at home. That was a nice break after all the running we did during the week. It was nice just to be lazy LOL.

Today was the monthly MOMS Club meeting. No one else is running for Secretary except me so I will be having that position once the elections are over LOL. This will mean I will have to get rid of some of the other things I do like Create and Play maybe the Science Club, Nursery coordinator and making the name tags LOL. Wow I don't think I realized how much I do till I typed it all out LOL. I love being a part of the club though. I have made a lot of good friends through it and I know the boy's love doing the things they have going and also have made a lot of good friends.

Tomorrow is laundry day. But other than that no plans. I am hoping for another do nothing much day LOL. I don't feel like I recuperated from last week LOL. But who knows what tomorrow will bring. How was every one's weekend?

Man it really has been a busy week for me. Even more busier than usual. You seen from the pics what we did Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday the boy's got to sing the song they did on Easter at Church for a gathering of Open Bible Ministers. They came from all over to our church for a gathering. Boy's did great but of course dummy me forgot to bring my camera ugh! That's the night we didn't get home till after 10:30 PM. Very late night for the boy's.

Earlier in the day on Wednesday we went to the Laundromat to do laundry. Chord between doing his school work and such opened doors for anyone that came in LOL. People were even giving him things for doing it.(with my permission of course) He got some change, a little flag pin, a little box of gum for both boy's and some chips from a lady I talk with there a lot. He didn't open the doors for them to get anything but he was rewarded just the same. He is such a courteous little man if I do say so myself. Ok so I am a little bias but still LOL.

Thursday we had Science Club with the MOMS Club. My friend and I are in charge of that. It was the first one we did. We were supposed to do it last month but I got sick and had to cancel. This month it really turned out well. The kids made Gak and got to do a couple other experiments. It turned out better than I thought it would. I know the boy's really enjoyed it too.

Today I stayed home but was surprised when my dad called and said he was here. So he came to visit us! It was a nice visit. He had my Mimi with him (my grandma but we always called her Mimi) she is in her 80's and has Alzheimer's. She even had a good time watching the boy's and playing with them. Even though I am pretty sure she doesn't really know who they are. My dad lives in Arizona and my dad and his brother and sister (my uncle and aunt) take turns taking care of her and getting her to the doc's. So that's why he was in town. It was really nice having some family over though. So that has been my week. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Sorry no pics today. We had Church tonight and didn't get home till almost 10:30 PM so I didn't have time to upload any pics. I will be getting to bed soon too. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able too. The boy's have Science Club with the MOMS Club but that's not till 3:30 PM so I should be able to get them up sometime before that or sometime after that. Please forgive me lol.
