Just Another Day

Well it's been cold here in Michigan (big surprise huh?).  So we still haven't been up to much this weekend.  Saturday I wasn't feeling too well.  I for some reason had bad acid indigestion and a headache.  Sunday I didn't have the indigestion but still had the headache.  So I didn't go to Church but hubby and the boys did.  They play live music at Church so I didn't want to make my headache any worse.

While they were at Church I took a nap but it really didn't help my head much.  I had taken some Ibuprofen when I first got up but that didn't help much either.  So after everyone was home we had some lunch and headed over to my moms.  She had some Aspirin I took when I got there and soon felt better. 

Today since I felt better I got back into my exercise routine (haven't been doing it regularly since the boys god sick) and we did some schooling of course and everything else we do in a days time LOL.  Other than that not much going on.  Sorry it's such a boring post LOL.  Oh well I would rather have a boring post then a full of drama life post LOL.   How was your weekend?

Laundry, Bunk Beds and Stress

Not much going on today.  Hubby went with us today to the Laundromat because he had to go to Michigan Works to update a few things so he can get his extension on Unemployment. 

While I was folding laundry he helped with school work by having Jarod read to him.  Jarod did really well.  He's really coming along in his reading.

When we got home we finished up school work and cleaned the boy's top bunk.  See we don't have a lot of room and the boys don't have a closet in their room.  So some of their big "Star War" ships were up there.  The boys have shared the bottom bunk for a while now.  Even when it wasn't all full of stuff they liked to sleep in the same bad. 

Hubby bought an extra bin to put at least most of them in and the rest on top of them (these are big ships.  Got them on E-bay :) ).  So now they have the top bunk again.  They were really excited about it now though.  I think they are getting older and need their own space.  I am glad we cleaned it up for them. 

Jarod is now sleeping on the top (he really wanted to LOL) and Chord is sleeping on the bottom bunk (Which he prefers anyway).  Besides they are both getting to big to share one twin sized bunk LOL.  Nice to have a little more room too I think.

Friday is the MOMS Club® Membership Meeting so once again I am having to get the Newsletter ready for print.  We are still working on it but this month I am not getting stressed out about it.  I figure I am doing what I am supposed to be doing.  So if it doesn't get done they can't really blame me for it :P.  I am learning not to stress the small stuff (really trying anyway LOL). 

So how about you?  Do you get stressed easily? (Oh I sure can on certain things). What is something that really stresses you out? What do you do to chill out? LOL.  I was just curious to see if I am alone or not LOL.

Cleaning Bug

Well We didn't end up going to Church yesterday because our Jeep is acting up.  Looks like it might be the Alternator again.  This time it's over charging (we are thinking) thankfully since we just got a new one put in not too long ago it's on Warranty so it won't cost anything to get it fixed.  It better not anyway ugh.   Harlow has to doing things to start school so it's not the best time for it to break down but then again when is a good time right? LOL.  So pray he can get it in tomorrow and fixed!

Since we didn't get to go to Church I seemed to have gotten into another cleaning mode LOL.  Since having that post on yesterday on where we like to study I realized our school/playroom needs to be cleaned out and reorganized.  See it's a pretty small room so it's not like I can fit a lot in it.  So the boys and I once again went through their toys. (Man they collect a lot of toys fast.) So now most of their toys are back in their room. (the ones we aren't going to give away or throw away.) 

I still have more to do to it tomorrow.  I need to go through the closet and then hopefully stick one of their totes(big one too) of cars in there since they won't have enough room in their room for that.  Then of course vacuum it all out and then put the big corner desk that's in the living room and move it back into the school room (I haven't had a desk in there for a while now) and I will put my laptop and school stuff on the desk while Harlow is going to use my small desk for his computer since he doesn't have as much stuff as I do LOL.  Then I will just have to rearrange the boys desk and I will be happy. (for now LOL.)

Then of course after the school room is all done I am going (with the boys help of course) to tackle the boys room.  Try and get things a little more organized in there hopefully.  It's really hard since the bedrooms are just so small.  That I will either start tomorrow after I am done with the school room or Friday. 

After that of course I will have to go through and really clean the living room, bathroom and Kitchen but they should be a lot better to go through since they are at least kept up on for daily cleaning (key word usually).  Our room I will probably get to soon as well.  Not a lot to be done there except a little more organized.  So you can say the cleaning bug has bitten me.  At least for now LOL.  So what have you been up too?

I haven't really been doing too much the last couple day's other than being hot LOL.  Sunday we didn't end up going to church because hubby wasn't feeling well. It was such a lazy day.  I slept for a while and honestly didn't do much of anything.  Today was a little better LOL.  I didn't go any where but had more energy and did clean up the house some (not that it's that bad since I really cleaned it not too long ago).  Yesterday I didn't do my exercises like I should have.  I tell you I just had no energy ugh.  Today I did though so that's good.  Today I also did some school work with the boy's.  I am going to try to get back on track with that.  We have been out and about lately that I haven't gotten to it.  But the boy's really need it I think.  They seem to have a better attitude about things when they do their school work.  They will have Wednesday off though because they are going swimming again at the pond.  Hey that's P.E. right? LOL.  Then later we are going to the car show again (they have it every Wednesday from 6-9).  So they are learning about cars LOL.  So shop class you think? LOL.  In Michigan we don't have to report to anyone or anything so I really don't have to count anything.  More for my benefit than anything else LOL.  So how was your weekend? 

I have a confession to make...I am a nerd! LOL. Seriously I am! Why? you ask? Because with this new position as Secretary in the MOMS Club® I am really enjoying it already LOL. I loved doing the minutes to the meeting and making the calendar up. I even made up some blank calendars and sent them to the other Board Members. I loved playing around in my little office programs like Word (got to do more with it), Excel and other things I have on here.

I have taught myself most of these programs. I still have to learn things on them but I love just playing around in them and finding new things I can do with them. I hope to really do a lot with them now within the MOMS Club®. It is something I really enjoy doing. I could just play around with them all day and be content LOL. It's a good thing I have a family to take care of LOL. I always put them first of course :) but I really do have fun playing around on my computer LOL.

Anyway, right now Harlow and the boy's went to his cousins house to hang out. I had to get the dishes done and am enjoying some time to myself. Plus I had to do my exercises too. I haven't done them a lot this week because of being busy and it being so hot ugh!! So I had to do them. I did them yesterday too but want to keep them up. Haven't weighted myself lately but I don't think I have lost anything but that's ok because I do at least feel better when I do excesses. Other than all that I haven't really done much today but grocery shopping. I hope everyone else has had a great day. Any Confessions to make? LOL

I finally got to the Kitchen and it is cleaned!! Yeah!! So now all I really have left to do is my side of our bedroom. It's mostly just organizing a little and vacuuming but that's no problem so I will get to it sometime LOL. Amazingly the rest of the house has stayed pretty decent. I'll probably have the boy's pick up their room again but that's not much either just a bit on their floor.

While I was cleaning Harlow took the boy's along with his cousin to a pond where they got to go on a Jet Ski with Harlow's cousin. I really wish they would have gotten pics but they didn't have a camera (darn it all). Harlow said the boy's had a blast!! They didn't even want to come home and they didn't get home till after 8:30 P.M. LOL!! I am glad they had a good time and had a "boy's night out!" LOL .

Other than that I just went to the Laundromat and did laundry (before cleaning the kitchen and before the "boy's night out."). Chord went with me because he said he wanted to just hang out with me. So we hung out LOL. Jarod stayed home with Harlow. So it was a good day. Not too exciting but a good day non the less.

Tomorrow is my first "board meeting" with the MOMS Club as and official Secretary now LOL. That's not till 6:30 P.M. though so at least I don't have to rush around in the morning. Harlow will be home with the boy's. We will be discussing next months calendar and other club things I am sure LOL. Thursday and Friday I don't have anything planned and no cleaning yeah! LOL. So I will probably just relax but who knows what will happen. I hope everyone had a good day!!

Been a busy weekend. Saturday we didn't really go anywhere but I cleaned the living room and bathroom really well. Then Sunday we went to my SIL and BIL's house to go swimming! I will post some pics at the end of this post. We didn't get home till after 9P.M. and we were all pretty wore out then LOL.

I got some water in my ear and today it's finally coming all out. Note to self next time bring ear plugs. LOL. I wasn't going to go swimming and just watch everyone because I haven't owned a bathing suit in many many years (probably before kids LOL) and the only shorts I ever wear our Capri shorts because frankly I don't like my legs LOL. But, my SIL had some extra bathing suits and she let me borrow one. So we all ended up swimming and we did have a great time!!

Today I didn't get to really clean the kitchen like I was planning on. I had to drop off a Library book and also pick up some for the boy's and things and then we went to Harlow's cousins house just to visit. So tomorrow after going to the Laundromat I am hoping to get the kitchen done. I may have lost my motivation though LOL. Please give me some encouragement LOL! So how was every one's weekend?
