I haven't really been doing too much the last couple day's other than being hot LOL.  Sunday we didn't end up going to church because hubby wasn't feeling well. It was such a lazy day.  I slept for a while and honestly didn't do much of anything.  Today was a little better LOL.  I didn't go any where but had more energy and did clean up the house some (not that it's that bad since I really cleaned it not too long ago).  Yesterday I didn't do my exercises like I should have.  I tell you I just had no energy ugh.  Today I did though so that's good.  Today I also did some school work with the boy's.  I am going to try to get back on track with that.  We have been out and about lately that I haven't gotten to it.  But the boy's really need it I think.  They seem to have a better attitude about things when they do their school work.  They will have Wednesday off though because they are going swimming again at the pond.  Hey that's P.E. right? LOL.  Then later we are going to the car show again (they have it every Wednesday from 6-9).  So they are learning about cars LOL.  So shop class you think? LOL.  In Michigan we don't have to report to anyone or anything so I really don't have to count anything.  More for my benefit than anything else LOL.  So how was your weekend?

Random Ramblings

We had a good weekend. Saturday I went grocery shopping and then we went to hubby's brothers and his wife's house. They are expecting baby number three. It was nice to relax with family. We also went because the boy's wanted to see the Parana's that they have and watch them feed on some goldfish. It took them a while to eat any so the boy's got board and started playing with their little cousins. The boy's are the oldest out of all their cousins but that's because both hubby and I are the oldest in our families. Our boy's are seven (will be eight in March) and five (will be six in January). Hubby's first younger brother's (the one we visited) has a soon to be three year old girl (will be in Dec.) and then he has a son that is a year and a half years old and then he has another son on the way. Hubby's other brother has a three year old girl and one that is almost a year old I believe. Don't know exactly because they don't try and keep in contact with any of the family (that is a long story for another day).

Sunday we went to Church and came home afterwards. I cleaned up the house some and then we just chilled the rest of the day pretty much. We watched the movie Transformers. It was an alright movie. It wasn't terrible but it won't be a favorite of mine. The boy's enjoyed it though. It was nice to just be together as a family though.

Today I watched my niece for a little while (my brothers little girl she will be 2 in April) but she started to really be congested so I called my brother and let him know and he got off work and picked her up. I guess it's the croup that she has. She had it last year and has it again this year. The poor girl sounded awful. I felt so bad for her. When my brother first brought her over she seemed fine with only a little cold but when I went to put her down for a nap she started to wheeze and woke herself up. So I am glad my brother came and got her.

I have decided to give the boy's a week off school for Thanksgiving this week. They have been doing really well and are ahead in their work anyway. I will have them read some this week but no "formal" schooling. They were happy to hear that LOL. I will probably do some art's and craft's with them too.

Tomorrow is good old laundry day. So it's off to the Laundromat to do that. Then come home and clean up the house some more I suppose. Other than that I don't have any real plans. The day after Thanksgiving we are going to my bil and sil's house for a Thanksgiving dinner and then sometime later in the week my mom is going to have a Thanksgiving dinner for the family too. Other than that don't really have much planned at the moment but we shall see how that goes. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Another Blah Day and other things

It's been a rainy, grey day. It hasn't poured down rain but he slow drizzling kind. I don't mind rain too much but when it's a drizzle like it was today it makes me so tired and blah feeling. If it was stormy I would love it. Since I really do love storms but it wasn't a storm, just blah! I know it's fall but I can do without this blah weather LOL. Then again I am not ready for winter just yet either LOL.
Can you believe it's only two more months till Christmas? We got ahead this year. We are pretty much done with the boy's stuff. They wanted Star Wars stuff so it wasn't too hard LOL. Now we just have to get a few things for like my mom and other family members. Can't do much this year though since H. will be losing his job at the end of Feb. Pray that he finds a new job before this one ends. But there in Michigan it might be hard. Don't know what or where we will go if we have to move to another state. Michigan is slowly dying though. With the car manufacturing going down hill and jobs moving out of Michigan. I just don't know what will happen. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers!
Today was laundry day so we went to the Laundromat and did that along with getting all their school work done there. The boy's are so good for me when we go. They do their work like I ask them and never give me too much trouble LOL. All though they like to get gum out of this gum ball thing where you play pin ball with it till it falls in the hole lol. We were there from almost 8:30 a.m. till about a quarter till eleven a.m. I am blessed to have such good boy's LOL.
Tomorrow, other than doing school we don't have anything planned. It will be nice to just relax for a day. Saturday will be a busy day with going to the zoo and hubby being off again to help his friend out again. Ah a mother never really rest does she? LOL

This and That. That and This

Sunday we didn't get to church. Because H. didn't get home from helping his friend till four a.m. He even woke me up when he got home LOL. That's ok though because we went outside for a minute and looked at the stars. It was really pretty. That's one thing that is nice about living a bit out in the country because you can really see the stars. They were so bright! So I guess getting me up at that time of night (morning) turned out ok LOL. We were pretty much lazy for the rest of the day LOL.
Today was a pretty normal day. Woke up at seven a.m. I woke the boy's, they had breakfast and brushed their teeth and got dressed. Then I let them play till eight a.m. and we started school. C. and I are having fun learning about George Washington. We are making a project out of it. He is really learning a lot from it and I am too LOL. That's one thing I really love about homeschooling too is that I can learn right along with them. Keeps my mind sharp LOL. We all finished just before 11 a.m. and they went and played together while I got tomorrow's lesson planned and printed and the house cleaned up some and then it was dinner time. Not too many dull moments in this house LOL.
Tomorrow is Tuesday so it's laundry day. Which means it's time to go to the Laundromat. I got all the clothes ready and the boy's school stuff packed to go tomorrow. I do school a little with them while we are there. Keeps them busy and keeps our schedule a bit on target. But if something happens our schedule can be changed and not a big deal. Another great thing about homeschooling LOL.
Instead of going "Trick or Treating" on Halloween, we are going to go to the Zoo this weekend and do it there. They do it every year and we have a membership there so it's only a small fee to do it other wise. Plus we did it a couple years ago and the boy's loved it. So I know they will love it this year too! We have had their costumes for a month now LOL. They have been counting down the day's. C. is going to be a Clone Trooper and J. is going to be Darth Vader. LOL can't tell they love "Star Wars" can you? LOL. My brother got them into that. I have to really be sure to thank him for that(Insert rolling eyes) LOL.
