Weekend Plans

I am excited because today the boys are going to my brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws house to spend the night!!  The boys cousin is having a birthday party!  She is turning five years old.  Every time we go over there she wants the boys to spend the night LOL.  They all get along great.  I wouldn't have minded if they would have stayed the night before now but they (Harlow's brother and wife) have three children of their own.  The one turning five, a two year old and a baby that isn't quite one years old yet.  Not that my boys wouldn't behave but that's a lot of kids LOL.  But my sister-in-law invited them to stay the night for her birthday.

This will be the first time in a very long time since hubby had any time alone without the boys around.  Don't have too much planned but that's ok I am happy with just staying home and just hanging out together or going for a walk together.  It will just be nice not to have to share each other with the kids for a while :).

Sunday the boys are going to go to my other Sister-in-laws house (hubby's sister) to make cookies! So we will have a little more time together with just the two of us!

I know me though LOL.  Once we leave the boys I'll start to miss them LOL.  I always do that LOL.  But I know we will have a good time and the boys will be having a good time too.  Do you have any plans for the weekend?

I know how you feel... You should be enjoying the time to yourself, but all you can think about is that the kids aren't home where they belong! *lol* ... Been there, done that!

Hope you had a wonderful night to yourselves.

We usually end up walking around Target...that is our exciting date night.

My boys are still too young to spend nights away from us. I miss them whenever I've dropped them off with their Oma, or even when Frieden takes them out on his own! I enjoy the time without the constant activity, though, and Frieden and I could use some time on our own.

Plans for the weekend... I got the salt dough made for making some Christmas decorations. I want to try my hand at a gingerbread house that the boys can decorate. We're in no hurry. I can get the house done next week.

I hope you had a wonderful time together - it is important to have just the two of you alone once in a while. It makes a marriage glow.

We had company Saturday for the day and I taught a 15 year old how to make two knecklaces and earrings. I didn't however have much time to visit with my girlfriend. However, I know her daughter needed some special attention as she is going thru some difficult times.
