Well today was Jarod's doc appt. and yes he had to get a shot ugh. He screamed actually more after the shot than during the shot. I even had to hold him down :( . I felt so bad for him but he's doing just fine now. I just really hate having them get their shots. I think sometimes I take it harder then they do LOL.

Well we will be getting a new vehicle after we get our federal taxes back. We do need something with more storage space. We are getting a Jeep. Hubby already put some money down on it so once we get our taxes back (hopefully by Friday from what it says) we will put the rest of the money down on it. The guy we are getting it from his son is a mechanic and has really made sure it was taken care of. It's even got something in it so it gets better gas mileage on it. Don't ask me exactly what because I can only put gas in, check oil, and change a tire when it comes to cars LOL. Hubby said what it was but my mommytimers kicking in and I don't remember what he called it LOL. But hubby and I are both excited about getting it!

Tomorrow is of course Create and Play but if there are school closings (it's been sleeting and snowing here) then we have to cancel Create and Play. I hope it's not canceled though because I enjoy it and I know the boy's do too.

Next week may or may not be busy LOL. I have things on a maybe list but that all depends on what goes on with the Jeep we will be getting. It will need a new windshield and a new blinker because it's broke but that's it. So if we do get the jeep we have to take it in to get those things fixed (well hubby can fix the blinker). But if we can get it in at a good time I will be able to get to do the other things I had planned. If not that's ok too. I could use a break LOL. I do have to say though I have been doing better with managing my time better (thank you Anne for the writing things in a planner). My house isn't really organized but hey I am organizing my time much better now LOL. Baby steps right? LOL.

What I have been up to and Prayer Requests

Let's see it's been a couple day's since I blogged last. I have been spending time with the hubby before he had to go back to work on Jan. 2nd and I started my organization goals lately LOL.

Yesterday was Hubby's and my baby boy's (Jarod) Birthday! My baby boy is officially six years old! We didn't do a whole lot. I did make them a cake and we had cake and ice cream. Hubby also took 1/2 the day off to be with Jarod on their day! Jarod got his presents earlier from us and my mom. He got some Star War stuff since that's what he is really into LOL. He also got some money from my dad. We will probably go shopping this weekend with him to pick something out. I also for the first time, by myself anyway, cooked my first turkey LOL. Our neighbor had gotten two turkeys and they just gave us one. A long time ago I cooked one with a friend but that was a very long time ago LOL. So we had a good meal and a good day. Jarod loved that he turned six years old! He said, "I can't believe I am finally six years old!" LOL it was just too cute!! I'll try and put some pics up soon of Jarod and daddy blowing out candles. Jarod stayed in his P.J.'s all day LOL. In the pics I have of him he has a sheet tied around his shoulders because he was a Jedi Knight LOL. Such a character LOL.

Yesterday I also cleaned off the bookshelves some. Then today I went through the boy's clothes because a friend of mine told me about a family in her church who just went through a fire and lost everything! Remembering how many people helped us when we had that same thing happened to us so I offered to help where I could. They have eight children and two of them are younger boy's so it was the least I could do. I blog this because I am so happy that I can help someone that has been through what we have been through before. I can't repay anyone that helped us out but I can pay it forward. Would you all pray for this family? I know they could use it!

I have one more prayer request. Just before Christmas a friend of mine in the MOMS Club that I am in has lost one of the twins she is pregnant with. I guess the baby that died had taken a lot of the amniotic fluid and the doctors had to do a procedure so the other baby would get more fluid. Well the baby with most of the fluid ended up with heart problems and passed away. Well the second twin is doing a little better now but he has some fluid around his heart. He did have water else where but now it's only around his heart. So that is something good but could you all keep this mom and this baby in your prayers. I know she is going through a lot right now and could use all the prayers she can get. Thanks in advance.

My Week Ahead and Being More Organized

Well the boy's didn't get to be in their play this weekend because we got a big snow storm that lasted from early morning hours of Sunday till late Sunday night so they canceled church services yesterday. So hopefully they will still do the play and do it this coming weekend. The boy's have worked so hard on their lines it would be sad to not see them get to perform them.

I can't believe just how much snow we got LOL. We went from almost all melted snow to a lot of snow. I will have to take a picture to show everyone LOL. So now that we've had our snow I am ready for summer again LOL. I am just so bad with cold weather. Makes me feel lazy, tired and really cold LOL. But I will get through it and it does look really pretty LOL!

For the local schools in our area were closed today. I let the boy's have a "snow day" too even though the last three they had already I haven't let them. I figured it was the first true "snow day." If it hadn't been so freezing out I would have let them out to play in it. But alas it was just too cold for any of us to go outside.

I was supposed to have a MOMS Club meeting today as well but since the schools were closed they canceled it till Wednesday. So at least I didn't have to run around today after all the running I did last week LOL.

Anne, I wanted to let you know I did buy me a planner LOL. Now let's see if I can remember to put things in it and look at it LOL. That is my New Years resolution LOL. I want to be more organized. I need to be more organized it really. I tell you I get what seems like ten million things that go through to my mind. Also unlike most people who can clean a room at a time in their house I can't seem to do that. I'll start off in one room and realize oh yeah I need to go do this and end up in a different room so it's like I never get anything truly done around the house. It's so easy for me to get distracted. It's almost like I have adult ADD LOL. I think I need to start listing for each room what I need to do and keep it in that room so I have it there to see exactly what needs to be done. This might keep me a little more on track. At least I hope.

Well tomorrow is good ol' laundry day. I got everything packed and ready to be put in the car. When hubby gets home he will put it in the car along with the boy's school work for tomorrow. At least I don't have to run around too much this week. Mostly just my normal stuff other than the MOMS Club meeting on Wednesday. So how was every one's weekend?
