My birthday is on the 23 of this month. I will be shhhh (32) years old. Yes I know I typed it small LOL. I know it's not really old or anything but hey I am a woman and we are supposed to keep our age a secret LOL. Oh well I don't really mind turning a year old. I actually like being in my 30's even more than I did my 20's. I feel much happier. Yes we have and are going through hard times but I think we have made who we are by the experiences we have. The tough stuff has made me stronger and a blessing always seems to come out of these struggles. In my 30's I have learned to be me!
I have learned that it doesn't matter if everyone likes me or not. It's ok to be different than other people. It's ok to disagree with others ,in a respectful way of course :D. I like being goofy and I really don't care that other people might think I am off my rocker LOL. The most important thing is that I like me (and God too of course LOL). If I find things I need to change like an attitude (or in my case my weight) then I can work on it. Not for anyone else but for me and that is ok. In my teen years and into my 20's I was concerned with all those things. Not any more. So I don't mind getting a little older and happier :D.
Anyway speaking of my Birthday. Hubby got me an early present! He went and bought me an MP3 Player. It's a Sansa. He knew I have been wanting one. It will be easier for me to play it in the car or do house work while I listen to music. Granted I only have less than 20 CD's to my hubby's 100's LOL but hey I like it LOL. Now I'll just have to get more music I guess LOL. It holds 2GB's which is perfect since I don't have a lot of music and if I get more I can still add more. I'll post a pic of it.
