Been Busy and Being Blessed

I am sorry I haven't  been blogging much lately.  This time of year seems to be hard for me to have enough time to do everything.  I don't know if it's because of the time change and it getting dark earlier thus me getting lazier earlier (LOL), or if it being such a busy holiday season that makes it so hard to do more things.

This Thanksgiving we were invited to one of our Pastors house.   Then the day after Thanksgiving we are going to my BIL and SIL's house for another Thanksgiving dinner.  Not sure yet when my mom is going to have her dinner.  So we will be very well fed this Holiday season LOL.

I know our family is going through some tough times right now but we have been truly blessed too.  We have so many people that care about us and will help us when we need it.  We don't take advantage of course but we know they are there if we really are in need.  God has been very gracious to us.  Whenever we get to the point where we don't know what we are going to to God supplies us.  In both big and small ways.

Since becoming saved and Baptized in 2002 we have been through some good times and bad and through it all we have been blessed by God.  We may not have a lot of money but we have so much more to be thankful for.  Even though we are in uncertain times right now with hubby not having a job, I have to say I am happy with our life.  Yes, I would (as we all would) like to be more secure but in the end I know God will get us through this just like He has all the times before.

I am a worrier by nature (just ask my hubby LOL) so I know it's not me alone that is dealing with things a day at a time.  If it was just me and I didn't have the comfort of God then I would have given myself many ulcers already and I would probably be in the hospital with high blood pressure or a heart attack.  I pray often to get through these times and in one way or another He answers.  God is great!

I don't know what I would do if I didn't have the Lord to lean on... Makes me wonder how non-believers cope, you know?

Oh... When I first saw your title, I thought I had clicked my friend, Jenn's blog by mistake. *lol* Her blog is called "Busy Being Blessed".

When does 'hubby' start his classes? I hope that you will still have a wonderful Holiday Season. It really does make a difference when you are saved; I can't imagine life without having the security we have as Believers.
